May 15, 2013 - The Road to Gillette

Our travels this summer are centered on the FMCA Rally in Gillette, Wyoming.  We will join with other motor home owners to renew friendships, learn more about our coaches and support the participating vendors with our shopping.  It is incentive to explore parts of the country we have enjoyed in the past or that are new to us.  Most importantly, a good time is to be had by all.

We started our adventure in Baltimore, Maryland, home of our daughter Kathy.  We “camped” in the parking lot of her condo and enjoy the luxury of her place, wide-open spaces and free laundry!  Mother’s Day was a great time to be together as a family.  We explored Fort McHenry, site of a major War of 1812 battle where Francis Scott Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner.
