June 9 – Gillette, WY

We made it! We arrived at the Monaco Pre-Rally in Gillette! It took us almost a month to come across the country with lots of interesting stops along the way. We feel as though Lewis and Clark are part of the family. Some coaches were already parked and people milling around when we pulled in. There were lots of hugs and hellos from friends with have met in our travels. There was time during the week to catch up on where we have been and where we are going next. There were 260 Monaco coaches here. Many participants spent at least part of the week volunteering, driving trams, providing information or working with the entertainment to make the rally a success. Vendors gave seminars explaining how their latest products and services would enhance our motorhome experience. There were also new show coaches to tempt the faint of heart into buying a new home on wheels. All had a good time.
