Purple mountains and turquoise water make Maligne (ma leen)
Lake legendary. Our lake cruise headed
to Spirit Island, once seen on Canadian currency. Mountains lined the lake’s shoreline and
glaciers peeked through the canyons. It was a beautiful day to enjoy the blue
sky, calm waters and peaceful scenery.
On Spirit Island we heard the legend of star crossed Indian lovers and
stretched our legs. We spotted a large male deer along the shoreline.
